Vineyards
Vino Con Brio Vineyards:
At Vino Con Brio, our mission is to create exceptional wines with Lodi appellation grapes, as well as introduce unique, Mediterranean and South African varietals that are ideally suited for our region's microclimate
Amorosa Vineyard:
• 18 acres of pristine, new vineyard
• Planted in 2000
• 13 Varietals (Aglianico, Merlot, Syrah, Muscat Canelli, Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Roussanne, Grenache, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Sauvignon blanc and Pinotage)
• Also the site of Amorosa Inn & Gardens, our tasting room and our event facility
Locust Tree Vineyard:
• 35 acres planted in 1943
• Superior, gnarly Old Vine Zinfandel vines on St. George rootstock (see picture to left)
• Since the vineyard was planted during WWII, some of the rows of grapes are crooked - there was not enough manpower to plant in flawless form, rumor has it that the vineyard was planted by women.
