Winemaker
Paul Wofford creates ripe, fruit-forward premium wines by combining his enology skills with the best equipment and barrels. He joined Vino Con Brio in 2003, after working in various winemaking capacities for numerous wineries, including Zaca Mesa, Clos du Val, St. Amant and Bargetto Winery.
He enjoys producing wines from grapes proven to flourish in the Lodi area, like Old Vine Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Viognier. He is also experimenting with varietals from the Rhône, Italy and South Africa.
Paul has been making wine for over 30 years. He graduated with a degree in Viticulture and Enology from the California State University, Fresno. His right-hand man at Vino Con Brio is cellarmaster, Steve Merrell. The two make quite a team.
